Hands around Parliament for Julian Assange!

On Saturday 8 October, the Workers Party will be joining the Hands Around Parliament protest at Parliament Square in support and solidarity with Julian Assange. Julian Assange and WikiLeaks should be internationally recognised and honoured for accuracy, truth, and bravery in journalism. Instead he’s rotting in a cell in Belmarsh, and facing extradition to somewhere even worse. George Galloway and the Workers Party will be there at Parliament Square from 1pm onwards to join with many others in protest against this sickening state of affairs. After that, we’ll be gathering in the Moon Under Water at Leicester Square for a brief talk and conversation. All welcome!
