️Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation / First Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Valery Gerasimov visits the command post of the Vostok Group of Forces in the special military operation zone At the command post, Chief of the General Staff was briefed by the Vostok Group of Forces commander Lieutenant General Aleksandr Sanchik and the Group’s officers on the situation in the area of responsibility as well as on the progress of the tasks performed at the moment. Concluding the briefing, the Chief of the General Staff commended the success of the Vostok Group of Forces, when liberating Urozhaynoye, and set a course of further actions.
