Little Red Flying-Fox has her baby: this is Primrose and her tiny little one

I forgot that yesterday was Walter Wednesday and forgot to put up a special Mandi/Waltorf Batoria video up for you all to have some happy viewing after a grim week. So welcome to this week’s version of Walter Wednesday, Teddy Thursday. Enjoy Primrose is an adult female Little Red Flying-Fox who was in care last year after being on barbed wire. She was rehabbed in Mandi’s aviary and released when she was healed, when the Little Reds were in town. Mandi got a surprise in the aviary a few days ago, and found Primrose hanging on the outside of the aviary 4 months after being released, wanting to come in. She had just given birth to a very tiny, premature little baby, and knew where there was food and time and safety during which she could feed herself up and manage her little one. Way to go Mrs Primrose! Look how tiny her baby is! Apparently Primrose was one of Meep’s willing concubines during her time in rehab, so we’re suspecting Meep managed to knock her up
