Old dudes in aviary being petted: Teddy, Gelert and Cinders

Mandi has kindly sent me vid footage of her giving the old dudes their petting time. How good is this? Cinders, Teddy and Gelert star in this video of bliss. Teddy is the oldest bat in the aviary at around 26 years (the silver faced handsome old dude), with Cinders and Gelert only around 15 years old. Cinders and Gelert are besties, and Teddy was Walter’s bestie. Teddy is still fairly solitary since Walter’s death, but he’s eating better now and appears to be happy and mourning less. Thanks Mandi for the footage. This footage is given in thanks for the continuing donations which help support the fruit costs for her bats, and for the eventual building of the airlock cage (after the harvest and when they get a new welder to fabricate the cage).
