4 baby bats on a dressing gown: Scaramouche, Fandango, Galileo and Fidget

The babies are starting to grow up and less time sleeping. The fluffy dressing gown is a perfect interim between incubator and airer. These babies get some stretch and climbing time a few times a day. The coloured toenails are to distinguish one bat from another. When we have a few bats the same size/age and the same colouring it’s difficult to tell who is who. The toenails (or a collar if they’re too restless to let us do a pedicure and let it dry) give us a way of IDing the baby so their history and any medical records can go with them.
