This tutorial is for a Lemoyne Star which is one of the most difficult blocks to make. The Sunset Over Dublin book provides great instructions to help make the block. There are many ways to make a Lemoyne Star but some waste fabric or use half square triangles with more piecing and seams. Nancy uses a set in or Y seam, a Omnigrid ruler with the angle lines printed on the ruler, and a marking pen.
