Cloud Strife | The War

“I think that’s what’s happening to me. That I’ apart.“ MAJOR FFVII: REBIRTH SPOILERS First of many to come Rebirth edits, of course I had to edit/analyze Cloud first. He really goes through it in this game- getting possessed and driven to aggression and violence more and more as the game goes on, but as people talk about the game and about Cloud, I see a lot of people forgetting one major thing: Cloud is a victim. He’s being controlled and manipulated by Sephiroth to do and say things he’d never do and say. Sephiroth uses fear, doubt, pain, and of course, jenova cells to break down Cloud’s mentality, all while Cloud is under the impression that his mind is breaking due to “cellular degradation“, (which is false) but leads Cloud to spiral into even more doubt and fear. All this is what I wanted to capture in this edit, which I put to one of my favorite songs, SYML’s “The War“. I’ve been planning to edit Cloud to this
