LEARNING TO GET BIT - PSA DECOY DEVELOPMENT CAMP, UK

Ben Lepinski from the USA travelled to the UK to provide a welcome seminar and decoy development camp for handlers and future decoys in the sport of PSA. PSA is a dog sport designed to test and provide an outlet for civilian competition in canine obedience and controlled protection to the highest standards possible. The decoy is an essential part of the sport for the protection phases. They must be able to test the dogs at a trial consistently and significant care is put into teaching decoys the catches that keep dog and decoy safe. In this camp, we were introduced to the catches and drives required on the trial field for the different bites within the sport. The sport of PSA is growing in the UK, now with a number of clubs opening and great people having a fun time training their dogs for the sport.
