X - Transbots Bulwark (Masterpiece Bulkhead)

A retool of XTB’s Dante, Davinci, Caravaggio etc. which is in my opinion one of their best releases. So everything that’s great there - materials, die cast, paint, sculpt, details, awesome engineering and transformation, solid presence and stance, articulation, and so much more - are all here too. Downside, this mold was perfect for Inferno, Grapple and my personal favorite - Hauler… but for Bulkhead… not quite? He’s missing the “Bulk” and so missing the essence of the character. Also… where is his wrecking ball? Giant hammer or a Gatling gun type at least? A tiny blaster doesn’t cut it. Panel former? Nah, this was well engineered and turns to a proper backpack ala FT Roadking. Don’t get me wrong, this is still an amazing figure, the head-sculpt is spot on and the armored truck/carrier alt mode is glorious.
