Brazil: the mythical “Hy-Brasil”? Rio de Janeiro (Oldest Photos, History) Star Fort, Reset Theory ++

Howdy ya’ll. Have you heard of Hy-Brasil before? This is the name of a mythical, mystery island, considered to be a phantom, or non-existent island, which was depicted on countless maps from the 14th century onward (possibly earlier). Hy-Brasil played a key role in the history, the sagas, of the Celtic people, especially in Ireland. For centuries, Hy-Brasil was sought after, however, by the 16th century the factual credibility of this landmass began to fade. That is when the Portuguese are said to have discovered another, unrelated land mass in the “New World”. Today we will discuss the implications of the South American country of Brazil as compared to ancient Celtic Hy-Brasil. We will then go through the historical timeline of one of the largest cities in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro while looking through the absolute oldest photographs of Rio de Janeiro.
