Nordic Skating: Autumn vs. Spring

The video tells about the difference between the two seasons, autumn and spring, from the point of view of a Nordic skater. In autumn, the daylight hours are short. At the beginning of a skating season, there is usually not much snow yet, but the conditions change quickly. The ice is thin, smooth on the surface and uniform in structure. In spring, it is warm in the sun and the day is long. The quality of ice is uneven and there are surface obstacles to trip over. In the video, we skate on the last spring ice that is still quite good for skating. The autumn trip was carried out in November 2018, and the spring trip was at the end of March 2021.
