In military form, the XM7 (now M7) was selected with the cartridge for armor defeating capabilities, and was paired with the XM157 optic. While many of us now know about the marketed capabilities of the XM7/M7 and the cartridge, we wonder if the civilian spec SIG Spear in would actually be closer to the final version... or at least a variant as the U.S. military clarifies it’s munitions doctrine....
