The 2018 World Bog Snorkelling Championships

The World Bog Snorkelling Championships proceeded in the Welsh town of Llanwrtyd Wells on Sunday, despite prolonged driving rain making conditions miserable. Every year scores of brave snorkelers take the plunge attempting to swim 55m (180ft) along the stinky Waen Rhydd peat bog but this year the weather made for particularly challenging conditions.
