Michael Flatley Dancing Lord of the Dance in Feet of Flames Taiwan (2009)

Here’s a special treat: this is Feet of Flames Taiwan 2009, with Michael Flatley, Bernadette Flynn, Aisling McCabe, and Kate Pomfret. This is particularly notable because it takes place on the Feet of Flames Taiwan set, which is sort of the last of the classic-era sets before the Return tour in 2011 (and Dangerous Games in 2014) dramatically overhauled the look of the show. It is the same stage set Team Lord is using in 2020 for its current Taiwan stadium tour with Feet of Flames. There is a certain timelessness to the show’s title number which this video really encapsulates. Originally filmed more than a decade after the original Feet of Flames in Hyde Park, the energy and passion onstage are still just as intense as they were.
