Final Fantasy VII Advent Children & Remake AMV: Linkin Park - My December

DISCLAIMER: I do not own any Square Enix or Final Fantasy VII materials, nor do I claim ownership of the song used. I started this project a few years ago as a dedication to Chester Bennington, but other projects kept coming up, so I suspended work on this project. With the long-awaited remake coming soon, I decided now would be a good time to finish it. There is an old Final Fantasy VII/Linkin Park My December AMV made more than 10 years ago that left an impression in my mind (link further down). Bentley Jones’ cover for Linkin Park’s “My December“ is more eerie and better fits the atmosphere of Advent Children than the original song. While editing the AMV, I imitated the cuts of the old AMV while putting a new spin on things with Remake footages. There are some effects that just took too long to pull off (ie. masking) so I found alternatives for those. Overall, I’m quite pleased with the results considering I haven’t done much editing for the past several.
