Tens of thousands march against layoffs in Paris

Demonstrators marched in Paris on Thursday to protest the French government economic policies as well as layoffs amid the coronavirus pandemic. Hundreds gathered in Paris’s Place de la Republique following the call for a general strike by several national unions.
