Cinema 4D Tutorial - Procedural Wood (Octane)

Support the channel on Patreon: Get the Procedural Wood Pack: Follow me on IG: In this C4D tutorial we’ll walk the line between the organic and the synthetic, and create a realistic wood material using nothing but Octane’s procedural nodes. Literally no image textures will be used to get this look. This material will be based on the MAWoodGrain OSL node by Michel Adres, we’re going to learn how to use it to its full potential, and then how to layer up details on top of it to get the most detailed and realistic look possible. Again, we’ll going to test the limits of Octane’s node system and see how realistic and organic we can get with nothing but code and math. 00:00 Intro 00:41 Patron Shoutout 01:54 Initial Material Setup 05:22 Explaining the Wood OSL 09:52 Playing with the OSL 10:34 Adding Color & Bump Details 15:38 Adding Imperfection
