Mysterious Origins: Castles. Tyrol, Hohenzollern, Created Before Man? Holy Roman “Rebuild” the grid

I’ve received a few encouraging comments pushing me in the direction of discussing ancient castles. This is something I am more than obliged to do. I very much enjoy it. To begin, I’d like to start discussing castles of unknown origin throughout Europe. When I say unknown, essentially, we have different groups said to have occupied these areas, but no definitive architect or even specific culture is credited with the creation of the castle foundations. Those are the castles we will discuss today. I understand this is just a mere fraction of the overall number of castles which have been built in Europe, yet the fact that any number of major castles exist which have a history that can’t accurately be traced is astonishing to me. In the video and the links below, I will try to provide you with a few quality examples of castles which seem to pre-date the recorded history of the area they were founded, or, castles which appear in occupied areas, with little history agreed upon concerning who actually built
