CalMatters reporter Sergio Olmos captured the moments when police attacked and broke down the pro-Palestine student encampment at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) early on Thursday. The officers were seen firing rubber bullets at protesters and breaking down the barricades that had been set up around the camp. For over two weeks, UCLA, along with other universities across the US, have been the scene of protests against Israel’s war on Gaza, which has killed at least 34,500 Palestinians, most of them children and women.
