Nick and Adalind “Color Me Blue“ --Grimm

- I never do this, but I must recommend the use of headphones! - Spoilers for 6x01 Yay!! I’m so glad this show is finally back, but sad that its for the final season! Still, I’m really excited to see how they wrap up everything and everyone’s story-lines, and how they’ll resolve the Nick/Adalind/Juliete/Eve stuff (three guesses what I’m hoping for) This is my first (finished) video for Grimm and Nadalind and I’m so happy I finally made one! I’ve technically been in the fandom since the beginning but I kind of bailed out after season one because I just wasn’t all that interested in Nick and Juliette and I’m a person who prefers a ship to root for if I’m to maintain interest in a tv show for many seasons. However, once I got wind of everything that was happening at the end of season 3 and then into season 4, I marathoned all the episodes I’d missed and have been watching ever since! I love the main cast so much, and Bitsie Tulloch’s and David Giuntoli’s real-life romance is the absolute cutest. But the on-screen Nadalind? That’s kept me hooked What can I say, I just adore them. I know they’re super messed up in some ways, but that’s one reason I love them. Adalind was first presented as such a villain and then was slowly revealed (to the audience, primarily) to have far more complexity than a simple stock villain. I love how her character has grown and changed over the series. And then Nick, my baby, has been through just a lot of crap (that, okay, was sometimes caused by Adalind/orchestrated by Renard) but its helped him grow into the most badass Grimm ever so. Gosh, idk if my rambly paragraphs make sense, but if you’ve never watched the show and are somehow still reading this, I highly recommend it! If not for Nick or Adalind, then for Monroe and Rosalee who are the cutest and deserve all the jelly beans and and marshmallows this universe has to offer. Also the world-building in this show is pretty friggin stellar and its got awesome monstery (and less monstery) creatures, isn’t afraid to go dark, and references fairytales from all over the world. ...And like a million other things (Wu, beginning quotes, Hank, Bud!, TRUBEL, captions at the end that like to f*** with you, etc, etc) Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use“ for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
