MANFRED MANN “ HA! HA! SAID THE CLOWN “ 2022 STEREO MONO..... “Ha! Ha! Said the Clown“ is a song written by Tony Hazzard and performed by the English rock group Manfred Mann in 1967. The song features one of the earliest appearances in pop music of the mellotron, played by group leader Manfred Mann. Mike d’Abo replaced paul jones in July 1966, and the group switched labels to Fontana Records, where they were produced by Shel Talmy.
