Potter making a decorative tagine at Art Naji pottery factory in Fez,

At the Art Naji pottery factory on the outskirts of the old city of Fez in north-eastern Morocco, a potter uses a foot operated pottery wheel. Using volcanic clay and organic pigments applied by hand, we were impressed with the quality of the pottery created at Art Naji. Very cool to watch the potter manipulate the clay into the shape he wants.
