Up Close With The New CT60 Collection From Tiffany

Over the many, many decades since Tiffany went into business in New York, they’ve worked with some of the most respected names in watchmaking, including Rolex, and Patek Philippe (for instance, you can read about the annual calendar Patek Reference 5396G released with Tiffany in 2012 right here; and as an example of a collaboration from years gone by, there’s our coverage of a wonderful Patek/Tiffany split seconds chronograph, dating from 1960. However, the CT60 is something else again – we took a first (and very detailed) look at the new collection, which was inspired in part by a watch given to Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1945, right here. Initial response has been really positive, with the collections offering a great mix of classic/contemporary, and more overtly vintage influenced designs, and we recently had a chance to sit down with two gentlemen from the firm – Nicola Andreatta, vice president and general manager for Tiffany Swiss Watches, and Jon King, senior vice president of Tiffany & C
