Scientists Found Something Lurking Beneath the Moon’s Surface

Given that it is the nearest major destination to Earth, it should come as no surprise that space exploration missions frequently choose to target the moon. A few people have traveled to the moon as part of missions attempted by NASA and many other nations. The first wave of robotic moon explorers served as a training ground for the 1969 to 1972 Apollo moon landings, which carried a few American astronauts to the surface.
