Deadly lightning strikes areas in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan on Sunday night. Over 70 people have died till now after lightning bolts hit the areas on Sunday night. In Rajasthan, 11 were killed and over a dozen others were injured near Amber Fort on July 11. SDRF teams were rushed and injured were taken to the hospital. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot condoled the deaths of the deceased. In Uttar Pradesh, over 41 deaths were reported due to lightning strikes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed condolences over the deaths and announced ex-gratia for the families of the deceased. Watch the full video for more details.
