Trailer for the beautiful Czech film Daisies (Sedmikrásky) directed by Věra Chytilová, starring Jitka Cerhová, and Ivana Karbandova as Marie 1 and Marie 2. Made right before the USSR invaded Czechoslovakia, this was meant to be a reaction against hypocritical socialism. Marie 1 and Marie 2 embark on a journey of hedonism and indulgence because they feel that since everything’s gone bad, they should as well. A really great film (especially when there are english about this version not having them) would definitely recommend watching in full. (I take no clam to this material)
