How to Sew a Drawstring Box Bag by Debbie Shore

This useful drawstring bag is quite deceptive, it makes a large storage box, perfect for sewing notions or knitting yarns! It’s quite a quick make, which means if you’re making to sell you can ask a good price. Once you’ve made one it’s easy to work out how to make them larger or smaller, to accommodate whatever you need to store! The bag was originally a live sew-along for my half yard Sewing Club, for details visit Materials: Five 9” [23cm] squares of each of outer and lining fabric 45” x 9” 114cm x 23cm] fusible fleece [H640] 10” x 12” [25cm x 30cm] lining fabric for the channels 80” [204cm] of 1.2” [1cm] wide ribbon Fuse fleece to the wrong sides of the outer fabric Materials from I’ve used Botanicals by Lynette Anderson – Flowers -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe to my YouTube channel here Join me LIVE every Wednesday at 4pm GMT and Saturday at 11am GMT on Facebook and YouTube where we talk all things sewing, projects, ideas, sewing techniques, tips and more!
