NASA launches supply capsule to International Space Station
A Northrop Grumman Antares rocket launched toward the International Space Station from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility, on Tuesday, August 1, carrying a supply capsule loaded with science equipment “supplies, and snacks”, NASA said.
The Cygnus resupply spacecraft was set to arrive at the ISS on Friday, August 4, according to NASA.
Continuing the tradition of naming Cygnus vehicles after influential individuals in spaceflight, the NG-19 Cygnus has been named in honour of Laurel Clark, who died in the 2003 Columbia space shuttle disaster.
