Featuring a haunting vocal solo by Raya Yarbrough, I wrote “A Distant Sadness“ for the shocking third season premiere of #BattlestarGalactica. This piece marked the first time I wrote lyrics for the show. The intense story allowed me to draw inspiration from my own heritage as a member of the Armenian diaspora.
