Kim Jong Un and Putin attend reception, toast to friendship after summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un attended an exhibition and gala reception, where they exchanged toasts and clinked glasses to “further strengthening of friendship“ of the two countries on Thursday in Russia’s far eastern city of Vladivostok. The two leaders held a day of talks on an island off the Russian Pacific city of Vladivostok two months after Kim’s summit with U.S. President Donald Trump ended in disagreement, cooling hopes of a breakthrough in the more than a decade old nuclear row.
