USA: Protesters topple and burn statue of Confederate general Albert Pike in DC

During protests to commemorate Juneteenth, Black Lives Matter protesters toppled and burned the statue of General Albert Pike located in Judiciary Square in Washington D.C., on Friday night. Protesters began tore down the statue just after p.m. local time ( a.m GMT). After successfully bringing down the statue, it was lit on fire as protesters chanted in unison against racist policing as well as sharing their disdain for President Trump.
