Stamping Designs on Leather

My website is for high quality handmade leather belts, bags, axe covers, tool rolls etc. In this film I am stamping vegetable tan leather with various metal stamps. I am actually making a little tool bag for my sister, for her lino cutting tools. I use alphabet stamps, plus some other old stamps that I acquired. In the film I show how to dampen off the leather prior to stamping, so that the stamping impressions stick. I also give a few tips to ensure you get good results
