Dr. Chiaravalloti discusses the learning process and techniques that have been shown to improve learning and memory in healthy persons. She walks through the evidence demonstrating these techniques to additionally be helpful to persons with Multiple Sclerosis and Traumatic Brain Injury. Chiaravalloti, PhD is Director of Neuropsychology and Neuroscience and of TBI Research at Kessler Foundation, Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Rutgers University -NJ Medical School, and a licensed psychologist in NJ and NY. She is Project Director of the Northern NJ Traumatic Brain Injury Model System, one of 16 federally-designated model systems of research and care for persons with traumatic brain injury in the US.
