"Split People By Categories, Not Gender!" Neil deGrasse Tyson on Transgender Athletes

Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson joins Piers Morgan Uncensored to discuss the fairness of transgender athletes competing in women’s sports. Neil suggests that we should be more creative in coming up with a solution to include transgender athletes in sports. He believes that people shouldn’t just be competing against the same gender but instead we should find more detailed categories such as hormone levels and reflex speeds to determine competition across all gender identities and group them together. He believes not only would this make sport more inclusive, but would also create a more balanced and competitive game.
