Don Powell Band ’Get Up’

The powerhouse drummer from Slade Don Powell is now firmly back on track with his own band, and another brand new song. Don finalised his choice of musicians in early 2020 but sadly they only managed one brief rehearsal day with the full line-up before the Pandemic virtually closed the music world. Since that time they have established a way of working on material remotely. It’s meant using three different studios as well as home studios, with countless file transfers, emails and conference calls. A system that they admit was hard at first but has got easier and more productive. The third release is a song simply titled Get Up! Don Powell hopes the lyrics will help people realise how much he and the band want to be back on Stage The line up sees Craig Fenney playing with Don.
