1996 Martin 000M flattop guitar

Photos and details: Here’s a customer’s 1996 Martin 000M. These should really have been called an “OM-M” because they’re long scale, but I won’t argue too much. These have a variation on x-bracing with… no tonebars! Many of them get crazy belly behind the bridge but this one’s enlarged bridge plate seems to be holding its top steady just fine. For folks wanting a warm-sounding, modern-feeling, 000-size box… these work great. Because the bracing is so light there’s a little sacrifice in top-end definition and snap, but for a folk strummer or picker? Perfect…
