Students at BIMM Manchester enjoyed a special masterclass with Shirley Manson, Duke Erikson, Steve Marker and Butch Vig of Garbage. They talked in-depth about the origins of the band, their approach to songwriting and lyrics, and how the music industry has changed since the 90s, including Shirley’s view on what it’s like to be a woman in the music industry right now.
