Ultimate Chocolate Cake | How to Make Moist Chocolate Cake | Easy Recipe
Easy to make, moist chocolate cake. You’ll definitely love it! It’s really delicious.
Ingredients:
225g self-raising flour
225g caster/superfine sugar
35g cocoa (sifted)
1tsp baking soda (sifted)
2 eggs
100g butter (room temperature)
125ml milk or natural yoghurt
125ml hot coffee
1tsp vanilla extract (almost full)
Preheat oven to 160°C/325°F fanbake. I used 20cm cake tin. Bake for 45min.
Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix until fully incorporated. Pour into a tin and smooth top. Bake until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Allow to cool in the tin.
Chocolate Ganache
100ml cream
100g dark chocolate
Heat the cream in a pot until it is almost boiling (you’ll see when it is ready when bubbles start to form around the edge of the pot). Remove pot from the heat and add chocolate. Allow to stand for 2min, then stir until the chocolate is fully melted into the cream. Whisk until smooth and glossy.
