Goma protesters rally against escalation of military tensions, burn Rwandan flag
Protesters in Goma showed their discontent at the escalation of tensions, while the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) accused Rwanda of supporting M23 rebels. Dozens gathered near the border crossing with Rwanda, holding signs that read ‘Congolese people say no to Rwandan aggression in DRC,’ ‘Respect the integrity of DRC.’ They also burned a Rwandan flag.
