Mass protests against NATO and EU hit Paris streets

The streets of the French capital were thronged with thousands of protesters on Saturday, as crowds demanded France change its stance on both the EU and NATO. Dubbed the ‘national meeting of resistance,’ the rally saw protesters waving French flags, along with banners reading ‘resistance’ and ‘Frexit.’ Crowds could be heard chanting ‘Let’s get out of NATO!’ as well as calling for the resignation of French President Emmanuel Macron.
