KAYAK SUPPORT: KANAWHA FALLS

If you’re looking for the perfect place to dial in your freefalling technique, Kanawha Falls is the place to be! Located just past the confluence of the New and the Gauley in West Virginia, there’s plenty of lines to run and boat-riding shenanigans to be had. We had some fairly low water when we showed up, but we still manage to have an awesome day out at the falls! Throughout the course of the day, I went from an unexpected swim, to feeling confident flying off the lip. My lines might still be far from perfect, but practice certainly does help!
