Summoning - Herumor (Digital Painting Video)

It’s been a while since I made my last Summoning video, but here we go again. This time it’s a video for the song “Herumor“ from their latest album “With Doom We Come“. This one was rather simple to make montage wise, but took me more than 40 hours to complete in total if I take into consideration time needed for the entire painting process. In a nutshell, this is just a super fast timelapse of me painting Herumor (Black Númenórean) looking at the havens of Umbar (check out the artwork, plus some other ones at my facebook, instagram, deviant art, or artstation pages (links below)), nothing more, nothing less. I find amusing to watch this kind of videos, so I thought maybe you will like it as well :) That’s how the idea for this video came to mind. Need to say that I’m sorry if some parts are nausea inducing, but majority of the painting process is just jumping from one to another part of the artwork to “tighten“ the details.
