Zweiter Weltkrieg: Brennende sowjetische T-34-85, German propaganda

I edited together some silent German film from 1944, these films, showing seemingly endless number of destroyed/burning T-34s (with 85mm guns) across Eastern Europe, were used to convince the German people that they were winning the war against the Soviet Union. In May 1945, and after the Soviets had captured Berlin, Germany lost the war. But was ’the war’ actually finished, or did it just continue with what would become known as The Cold War?
