San Juan Weavers, Lake Atitlan Guatemala

Women of the San Juan Weaving group from San Juan La Leguna, Guatemala on Lake Atitlan set up and weave the San Juan “Silky“ scarves using cotton and rayon thread and the traditional backstrap loom weaving technique. The cooperative is a part of Maya Traditions.
