High School Art Lesson Inspired by Neurographic Art

This Neuro Doodle art lesson is inspired by Neurographic art and is great for teaching mindfulness in the art room. This design project is perfect for middle or high school art classes and is excellent for distance learning, homeschool art, or art in the classroom. In this video, I share what I learned when I did this project with my high school art students. I explain what worked for me and what I would do differently next time. Students loved this art lesson and everyone was able to be successful. They learned about line quality and experimented with different line weights. They were encouraged to experiment with layering a variety of art mediums to create both unity and balance in their designs. Felt tip black markers, watercolor, colored markers, and colored pencils were used in the demonstrations but any other materials can be used too. This video gives a good overview of how to teach this art and design lesson to your art classes. I do have the full lesson with slideshows, hand
