The Making Of ’Chile: The Longest Descent’ | GCN+ Behind The Scenes
In late 2019, James & Mark travelled to South America to film some truly epic GCN documentaries. The crew travelled to the foot of the world’s highest active volcano, Ojos del Salado, in Chile. With their bikes strapped to their backs their plan was to climb to the summit at 6890m above sea level - and then ride back down. In this video, Hank gives you a look behind the scenes and discusses some of the challenges the team faced whilst making a documentary at almost 7000m above sea level.
