Video Shows Officer Shoot and Kill Unarmed Homeless Man

LAPD has released video of an incident that led to a Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s deputy shooting and killing an unarmed man experiencing homelessness. The officer responded to a trespassing call outside of a store. The man was 50-year-old Christopher Mercurio. KCBS says Mercurio attacked the deputy and punched her in the head. She then pulled out her weapon and shot two fatal rounds into his chest. Inside Edition Digital has more.
