“3“ is the first futuristic action movie in Indonesia, which highlights the story of friendship, brotherhood and family drama. There are so many changes in Jakarta in the year of 2036. The state has returned to its peace and prosperity condition after the civil war and the massacre of the radical people came to an end in 2026. Alif, Lam, and Mim are the three friends who were growing up together in Al-Ikhlas Islamic Boarding School or Pesantren and learning the martial arts of Silat. Alif, Lam, and Mim are forced to fight each other in keeping the truth of their own version, while constantly caring for families and people who they respect and love.
