Herc - Mahal (Official Lyric Video)

Herc - Mahal (Official Lyric Video) Taken from the album “Of Light and Darkness“. “Mahal“ intricately narrates the essence of Tolkien’s “Of Aulë and Yavanna“ Aulë, a Vala associated with craftsmanship and creation, secretly creates the Dwarves out of stone before Ilúvatar, the supreme deity, intervenes. Aulë offers to destroy his creations, but Ilúvatar grants them life and a unique destiny. Yavanna’s fears are alleviated by Ilúvatar’s plan, which ensures harmony between the Dwarves and the natural world. -- Filmed by Mick Alexandrakis at Black Screen - Graphic Arts: The video was edited and produced by Iraklis Choraitis. LINEUP Herc: All vocals, choirs, all guitars, bass guitar, keyboards, orchestrations, drums arrangements & programming. Panayotis Mavrakis: Solo guitar -- Recorded & Mastered at Perilous Home Studio by HERC -- LYRICS: I breathe life into stone Seven souls of pure impulsiveness My fear now has grown Should I beg for my forgiveness? For I have fallen into folly And my arrogance has left me blinded Yet creation is my joy How can I be so divided? Bridge He brandished his hammer up high They shrank and begged for their lives He wanted to smite them all With their bodies to blanket the floor Chorus Mahal, Mahal Blessed be thy creation Mahal, Mahal For thy art will be your salvation Come now my children come Embrace the life that was gracefully spared Sleep now my children, swiftly And let this darkness embrace you deeply Bridge 2x Their time is not yet to come They sleep now deep under the stone What is done it can’t be undone But they cannot be called the “Firstborn” -- FOLLOW HERC: @hercband -- #hercband #thesilmarillion #tolkien #middleearth #oflightanddarkness
