“Paritta” is Pali word meaning “protection” or “safeguard”. Ven. Bhante Indarathana hails from Sri Lanka and is currently Resident Monk at Subang Jaya Buddhist Association Malaysia, under the guidance of Most Ven. Chief Reverend Saranankara Maha Thera. Bhante Indarathana was first ordained as a Buddhist Monk at a tender age of 11 and has a Law Degree from the University of Colombo, and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology.
